The unexpected

This is a scene that is not usually seen in the valley of the sun. A storm rolled in and brought with it some snow. It didn't stick around very long but it was beautiful while it lasted. Saguaro cacti and snow, kind of a strange combination.

Children's Museum

Amy & I took Jonathan to the Phoenix Children's Museum. Jonathan had a blast with all the activities, there were so many things for him to do.

Don't blink

Here is proof of how fast the seasons change in Arizona. This photo was taken on Dec. 8th, fall had finally arrived, the leaves changed color and were falling off, there was a crisp fall feeling in the air.This photo was taken today Jan. 19th. The tree has all new beautiful green leaves on it. Spring has arrived, in January!!!! If you blink you will miss the seasons changing around here, I guess this means that summer is just around the corner, yipee:(

Icing on the cake

New tires & rims finish off the project. We went for a drive and I was grinning from ear to ear. It is so nice to be finished and we are so proud to drive it around.

Fiesta Bowl 2011

You can't ever have enough football, right? We attended our 2nd bowl game of the season, the Fiesta Bowl, Oklahoma vs. UConn. It is our opinion that the BSC rankings are messed up and whomever decides who plays who needs to figure out a new system. UConn didn't really have a chance against Oklahoma, but we were cheering for UConn anyways.

Our big project

1 year ago this is what Jr's Dads 1966 Chevy truck looked like. It had been sitting in a field in Utah exposed to all kinds of weather for years.
