it's great to be 2

We celebrated Alessandra's 2nd birthday with a beach bash party. She had a blast playing with her cousins, eating bbq pork sandwiches, opening presents and eating her flip flop cake. We could tell she had fun by how dirty her birthday shirt was.

 She really like hello kitty, and was excited for her hello kitty sprinkler.

 Every girl needs a pair of pink cowboy boots.

 Jonathan and Charlie were her helpers, they helped blow out her candle and were as excited as she was about her presents. It is so cute to see the 3 of them play together.

 Wish I was as flexible as Joal

Joal finally got his 1st tooth and he likes to show it off. 

month 7

Joal turned 7 months old. He is so close to crawling, he gets up on all 4s but just hasn't moved forward yet. He gets where he needs to get by rolling. He is a very happy little boy, he has the cutest laugh. Alessandra loves that he is getting to where she can play with him. She is really good with him, they love to lay on the floor playing together.                              

Its a zoo out there

My friend liz and I took the kids to the zoo. It was a beautiful day, perfect spring weather. We had a lot of fun, Alessandra was so happy and excited to see all the animals. She really liked the orangutans, they were swinging from their ropes and she kept saying uh o, uh o. She was concerned about them. Joal was captivated by them moving around, he followed their every move with his head.

Spring Training baseball

We  took Alessandra to a spring training game. The D-backs were playing the Padres, it was a beautiful spring day and we had a blast. We sat on the outfield lawn so Alessandra could run around. She had so much fun playing ball with the people next to us who caught a homerun ball.  She made friends with everyone sitting by us, she barely sat down the whole game.  Thanks to Aunt Diane she was sporting a D-backs shirt, she was good luck, they won the game.                                          

February fun

February flew by,. We have had amazing weather so we play outside a lot. Alessandra has put the miles on her 4 wheeler cruising around the farm. I put Joal in the stroller and follow her around, so I get my exercise.                   

We went to dinner at Greasewood Flats, Alessandra loved eating at the picnic table and roaming around listening to the good music. It was a beautiful evening, I captured an amazing sunset with Pinnacle Peak.

6 months

Our little man is 6 months old. He weighs 17 lbs. And 27 1/4 in. Long. He is sitting up by himself and rolling all around the room. He is eating solid foods and loving every bite. He is such a happy smiling little boy.
