#1 Nascar Fan

I am a huge nascar fan, there is nothing like hearing the drivers start their cars and feeling the vibration as they go speeding by at 150 mph. We are lucky to be able to attend the 2 races each year that are held here and last year we traveled to California for the labor day weekend race. As everyone knows my favorite football player wears #11 and coincidentaly my favorite driver Denny Hamlin drives the #11 car.

Good Reading

Iam reading a book that I highly recommend you to read. Between Sundays by Karen Kingsbury. Since I started the book I have had a hard time putting it down. So if you get a chance to find it, I am giving it my 2 thumbs up!!

I Got Skills

My very talented and patient husband taught me how to weld. We have been putting up a fence around our backyard and I wanted to help. I really enjoy welding and I can say that I helped build our fence. So Napolian Dynamite eat your heart out because Becca's got skills!!!!!

Baby Peas

Here is a picture of my baby peas. They are about 4 inchs tall. They are growing better then anything else

New Sprouts

I was so excited I went out to check on my garden yesterday and guess what? Peas and Cauliflower are sprouting. It is so cool to see the little baby plants peaking out of the ground.

Green Thumb

I don't know about you but It has become imposible to get good tomatos and strawberries at the store. So over the last couple of days Jr and I have been working hard and we planted a garden.
Iam really excited to grow some veggies. Hopefully we can keep the rabbits and birds away from it. I'll keep you updated on the progress.

Tropical Heat Wave

My sis in law Erin posted on her blog about the weather being below zero in Chicago, so had to post a comment about our weather in Arizona. Yesterday and today we have been in the low 60's. Both days I wore a t-shirt and jeans and I only needed a light jacket in the evening. I know that everyone thinks that the Arizona summers are killer, but I would rather be hot then freezing to death!!!!!
